HORIZONTALI-TREES
Horizontali-trees, 2023, I-Park Foundation (Inc.), Connecticut, USA
Four ephemeral interventions with paper in the landscape of I-Park. The theme that inspired these interventions was horizontality, which was present
everywhere in the land. A beetle infestation has been decimating the tree population, and hundreds of trees are lying dead, uprooted, horizontally in the
woods of I-Park; many have already been cut down and removed, others have turned into sculptures as for instance Nathan Byrne’s “”
This project has been supported by I-Park Foundation (Inc.) and took place over the Artist in Residence (May. 2023) at 428 Hopyard Rd, East Haddam, СТ
